University of South Wales is offering 13 Creative Industries International Scholarships. These scholarships will be awarded for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate courses within the Faculty of Creative Industries. Applicants must hold an offer, have accepted a place on a full-time creative industries course running at the Universities’ Cardiff campus and also have paid their initial deposit, at the time of submitting their scholarship application. The application deadline is 31st July 2014.

Eligibility: In order to apply for the International Creative Industries scholarship you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
-You must submit your scholarship application by no later than Thursday 31st July 2014.
-You must hold an offer, have accepted a place on a full-time creative industries course running at the Universities’ Cardiff campus and also have paid your initial deposit, at the time of submitting your scholarship application.
-If you defer your offer, you will not automatically receive the scholarship the following year. You will have to re-apply.
-Students will be required to apply for their visa using the financial information provided on their offer letter and not inclusive of the scholarship, due to the late announcement of the scholarship results.
-Applicants for the Creative Industries scholarship must be self-financing and not in receipt of any other external funding/ scholarship (this does not include the University of South Wales – International scholarship which international students will still receive).
-The International Creative Industries scholarship is only available for new students enrolling for the first time at the University of South Wales in September 2014.
-The scholarship is only available to students for their first year of study.

Scholarship Description: The Creative International scholarship is designed to recognise talent and help provide more access to education from across the world, whilst supporting the growth of the Creative Industries in your home country. Eligibility for this scholarship is limited only to applicants for undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Faculty of Creative Industries.
Number of award(s): Total 13 international scholarships (undergraduate- 9 and postgraduate – 4) are offered.
Duration of award(s): The scholarship is only available to students for their first year of study.
What does it cover? The value of scholarship is as follows: undergraduate-£1,500 per year and postgraduate – £2,000.
